Today I did a little work on the talon. Basically just checking the basics. Plugs and wires where in good shape, no holes in the pistons

It has compression, I didnt check it because they wanted $50 for a gauge and I didnt have that much. I did however get a caliper and was going to test cw but damn the car is to low so I need to jack it up to test that. The spark plugs smelled of gas. If I do end up having to pull it, is it easier to pull the motor and trans as a unit or seperatly?
