You can get a generic ram air and you'll get pretty much the same results as paying for an AEM. Intake is pretty much the only mod where you can be a cheapskate. Don't buy something that looks like a total pos but you can get ebay brand intake and be fine. As you stated, there are minimal to no power gains with cai, even less with ram air, but you'll sound a lil meaner on the street.
