Quitting Smoking

I don't smoke, but I have two really good friends that do. They've both been trying to quit (or claiming to) for years now. Both have gone stretches without smokin but can't keep it up. Hell, one was pregnant but as soon as she had her baby, it was right back to business

I try to be supportive when they are trying to stop, but I don't really know the best way to help them since I never really was addicted to them. I smoked for a few months back in middle school, yes middle school, but that was only cuz my group of friends thought it was the cool thing to do.

Anybody have any ideas on ways I can possibly help them quit? I get tired of
A) smelling it on them and
B) Having them complain to me about how they wish they could quit. I don't get it.
