I bump the clutch on the compressor with a flash light and it engages and starts to cool (touch cold on the accumulator). I turn off the ac in the cab. The compressor stops, as expected. Check the air gap on the clutch.
Not sure what the specs are but around .015-.025" with out rubbing anyplace would get it.
If it is good look for a lose connection or bad coil in compresser clutch.
