dude i know him....i can't remember his name offhand, but i've met him a few times. He is in the Air Force or something and was/is stationed at the base here.

The reason people do it is because once you get into bigger injectors, 780cc and larger, you can't find them in a Saturated injector anyway...its just easier to get it over w/ and do the resistor pack. I did and it only took an hour after heat wrapping and everything.
