It's usually no coincidence that the freeware programs aren't as good as the ones you have to pay for
The question to ask yourself is wether or not the cost of the better version is worth it. If it is, then pay up and git r dun.
I seem to remember some free versions that were decent though. Tunerstien comes to mind. TMO is also free now, but thats for 1g only. A search on the national boards might turn up some more options.
