my buddy has an 02 F4i, it's a really nice bike. the only thing i don't like is that the seat is rock solid and uncomfortable.
it's definitely fast enough to keep most people happy. the engine is mounted further back on the F4 so it doesn't quite handle like the RR, the handle bars aren't swept down as far on the F4 so it makes for a more upright riding position, like deals said it's just meant to be more street friendly than the RR. imo it's a great bike.
