There will no doubt be someone who can tell you what you might expect with your tranny. I can't. If you decide to go STS your best bet will be to get a tune by Allen Nelson of Nelson Performance. He is one of STS's preferred tuners. You can probably talk to Allen about all of it if your so inclined, he has installed many STS's and tuned thousands of Silverado's.
