Seafoam is a multi use product used mainly for cleaning engines. Ingested through either the PCV or power brake vacuum hose, it will decarbonize everything from the point of ingestion to the combustion chambers. Poured into the fuel tank, it will clean the entire fuel system and lubricate the upper cylinder walls in the engine. Added to the oil, it will clean everywhere that the oil goes. It is 100% petroleum and will not attack seals, plastics, steel or rubber. It's not a "miracle mechanic in a can" by any means, but if it’s used correctly, it can noticeably improve certain problems.
