Got some from HLJ today with the idea of polishing up my R33, as it's nearly finished now. (This isn't the yellow one

Is it supposed to give a shine? As I can't seem to get one out of it. It seems to change the look of the paint slightly, but make it slightly duller, I thought it was supposed to bring up a shine?
Am I doing it wrong?
