hey i got a 1989 camero rs i bought it for 300 dollars when i got it all the emmission hoses where cut and brake lines
i fixed all the hoses and brake lines we got it running and it was gooing good tell it got hot then it started to bog out and then it totally died it lost all power even the lights wont work
u let it set for a bit then all the lights come on and when u start it it runs then dies out again after it gets clod it runs and then get hot and no power
i changed the plugs wires and cap and roter now its a guessing game i read u can check the codes with a paper clip now when u start getting codes how do u tell which code is falshing i know it starts with 12 but then how maney flashes does each code give my manule list the codes but not the flashes
iv been readding up on the rs and it seems like it runs hot before i bought it i had looked at it a few years before but he sold it to his brother and then got it back from him with the wires cut to the fan sence then they had been fixed but the car sat for about 3 years so if u can give me any help i would greatly appercate ty
