Stay away from a used part, most of the time theyre not much better than what you got now. Ive been burned too many times trying to save money. Its always worse in the end.  |
Thanks, I did just that. NAPA, (Not All Parts Available), had to order the regulator, two to three days, not bad, but the GMC dealer in the next town had one in stock for a few dollars more, worth the extra drive and $, Truck is now fixed and works great. Suggest spraying some extra white lithium grease along the length of the cables, particularly near the entrance and exit of the guide tubes. Thats where mine broke, looks like from rust, might get some extra milage out of it.
