s-10 clutch bleeding problem

I have 1985 2.8 liter s-10 I have replaced the master and slave cylinder,and
now in the bleeding process. The problem is I have tried every thing I could find on bleeding these systems and no luck. I did have a bad master cylinder and exchanged that, it was leaking around the push rod seal. Now I need some suggestions on how to get the air out and pump pressure to disengage the clutch. If any one knows how to do this I would appreciate the help.
thanks trave. I almost forgot pumping the peddle 25 to 30 times and holding down doesn't seem to do it.
