I had the same part go - rusted out at a bend going to the radiator.
I repaired the line with rubber hose and hose clamp.

Now you ask how much pressure is in those lines......
Let me relate to you ths story.....


The rubber hose worked OK in the summer months, but then came the winter.
Power steering fluid gets thick at 20 degrees. It tugs at the hose when going around a bend. Started up the car one morning, and lost all the fluid. The end of the hose clamp just pulled off.

Refill the fluid and try again - got quality hose clamps. Wratched them down good. Started up the car another morning, and again lost all the fluid. Same thing - the rubber hose simply pulled off the steel tubing.

Refill the fluid and try again - this time I used double hose clamps with extra long overlap of the hose over the tube. Started up the car another morning, and again lost all the fluid. This time the rubber hose split. Working on a car in winter is no fun.

Refill the fluid and try again - this time I used duct tape and wrapped it around the hose to reinforce it. Strong as steel. Used double hose clamps, with extra long tube overlap. Started up the car another morning, and again lost all the fluid. The rubber hose was not leaking - the steel tubing had burst at another spot.

OK - I give up. I drop it off at the local mechanic to fix. He installs a new cooler line (charged me $125 for that line????) and then splices it in with RUBBER HOSE. Can't wait for next winter.
