I think heat wrap is a good idea. And I think it will really help keep the underhood temperatures down. I wrapped my stock header for practice so that when I do it on my turbo header, I can make it look professional. When I turbo my car I am going to wrap the header, o2 housing and downpipe, and anything else that might generate heat. After that I'm going to seal it with the Thermotec spray paint stuff. Not only will it perform better...but it just looks sick.
