Do to some poorer quality gases sulfur deposits can build up on the sensor and cause erratic readings you can sometimes use a good gas additive to fix this . I would try running soemthing like Techron thru a couple of tanks and see what happens , if that doesn't then replacement of the pump an sensor is proabbly required .
