Yes, totally. There are no less than 3 different 5.0 Liter Chevy engines, one is the 302 (three year production in the first-gen Camaro), the 307 and the 305, in that order. The 302 is a 327/350 block with a 283/307 crank. The 307 (Chevy) is a 283 block with a 327 crank, and the 305 is a 350 crank with a 3.736" bore.

The 302 was made from '67-'69, the 307 was made '68-'73, and the 305 was made '76-'03.
