As to the question of how i got out.. it still didnt hit me after it happened that we were in the air a good 5 feet so i basicly just turned it off (it was still running, good ol' chevys...) told the lady not to move and opened the door and got ready to step out thinking earth was still going to be under my feet and literaly fell out not expecting it.

Man that really sucks, and thank God you are ok.... BUT, I would have crapped my pants from laughing at seeing a car go up on a guide wire, a door opening and someone going to get out and falling out! You are gonna look on back at this and piss yourself laughing in a couple omnths when you car is fixed, etc.
It could have turned out a lot worse.
