Every duplicate key we've gotten made does this. My wife's original key works flawlessly, but my duplicate needs to be pulled out half a millimeter before it'll turn. I've gotten pretty good at turning it now but it drives my wife crazy if she needs to use it, especially when trying to jiggle it to pull out that tiny little amount while pushing the cylinder in to go into the accessory position... That same key works all door locks perfectly.
