I believe the SOHC ZC is about the same as a d16a6 with maybe a point or two higher compression. That engine was not designed to rev that high and eventually you're going to float the valve train or just snap a belt or something.

Even with the 1 sec reaction time, that's probably the best you'll make of it... maybe a 15.5. I'm willing to bet though that your chip isn't doing anything but raising your rev limit. I'd like to race you straight up at the track.
