I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the 90 engine will not work in your 94 vehicle. The 94 spec engine has a CMPS (camshaft position sensor) that the 90-93 spec engine did not have, and two CKPS's (crankshaft position sensors, one in the back of the block like the 90-93, and one behind the harmonic balancer). The 90-93 engine only has one CKPS. The computer is not receiving a signal from the non-existant cam position sensor and 2nd crank sensor, and is therefore not able to adjust fuel delivery and timing advance. Basically, this engine cannot be used in your car without extensive mods to the wiring harness, ECM, etc....
