WIP:Cory Mac's FRAM AirHog TF dragster

This is Cory's '05 car, not the one that broke in half last week. Big thanks to DaveT (skylinefan) for paving the way for both this car and the Brut car. If it wasn't for him working out all the kinks and showing me how a modern fuel car should be done I would have never been able to do these.

I started with the Bernstein kit, and cleaned up all the mold lines (a million of them) and then cut off the very front of the frame and reworked it to accomadate the single element front wing. Once it was ready, I primed it, shot it in Alclad Steel, and then hit all the weld joints with a combination of Alcald clear Amber, and Tamiya flat black. I added the fuel cell, and used the straps and hardware from a Garage Scenes PE sheet. I also installed the rear end center section.

The front rims and centers came from MAS. I used a solid pattern for the outside, and a open pattern for the inside to simulate the spokes had been milled out on the inside.

The engine is also coming along. I used the kit block and heads, and the supercharger is a resin piece from Comp Resins. The injector hat is from the kit, but I modified to it to get it up higher in the air. It was covered with SMS CF, and cleared. All the upper and lower fuel lines have been added, and this engine will use the modern black fuel and oil lines like the Brut car did. I think the mags were from Scale Repros Plus, and the bottom two pulleys are from MAS. I decided to redo the upper one and made a new pulley from brass that has the snout and pulley all as one piece.
