My friend had one awhile back but I wasnt ready to buy. Id like to stick with Honda and since the Prelude has near 200hp VTEC 2.2(correct me if im wrong) I think the power would be more than enough. I have a 96 Civic now, and while I love it, its just too slow for me. I mean just driving the highway is almost difficult because of the lack of power. I just want something a little sportier and comfortable.

So anyway, just tell your pros and cons of the Prelude.

Haha..with all that money invested in your Civic you could have Turboed a prelude and got some kick ass power.

The Vtec H22 prelude is one mean mother ****** basically. It seems to have perfect balance for length and weight to power ratio..People seriously underestimate the Vtec preludes..which is sad =(

If you get a Prelude with a H22 motor..you'd be ready to give your civic away however the EK9 isn't a bad vehicle either. Don't underestimate the tuneability of a civic hatchback. Why not drop a H22 in it and have a serious sleeper ?
