I actually dont think so. I havent taken it off yet, but if you did need to remove those electrica connectors, they would probabaly have mentioned it. So I think those 2 switches, are actually connected to the dash, and not the trim plate. But I cant be sure.

Even if they are connected to the trim plate itself, it's not a huge deal that is going to adversly affect removing the trim lpate, it'll just be 2 more electrical connections taht you will haev to unplug to take off the trim plate.
