well thats not specifically correct, it will read from full to just about empty, randomly however, sometimes while I am driving it will just bob up and down, until it settles about a half tank.
So, really I have no idea how much gas I have.
I spoke to my mechanic, he said to look for a Troubleshooting Guide for the gas gauge, either in a manual, or online.....so, that is why I am here asking for help

Fuel level sensor in the gas tank is bad. I have never seen a bad fuel gauge.
