I also snapped a plastic vacuum line that connects to the underside of the front of the intake manifold, which I put back together with some duct tape. So im thinking maybe too much unmetered air is getting in or maybe I have the plug wires on the distributor mixed up a little? any suggestions are needed and appreciated.

1. Your idle isn't correct because you have vacuum leaks no matter if you 'duct taped' it or not.
2. Don't work on your car, have someone else do for you or learn not to break shit.
3. If the parts you busted off your intake were mold'd into the intake and now they are broken off, you'll need a new intake. This time, when swapping it out, DO NOT break anything.
