shouldn't be major headaches. don hardy (i think) stuffed in a 4.3, the 90* v6, with some minor (or no) tuning of shock towers; since the 'vette had an L4, the v8 should fit no sweat. you will have issues with hood clearance on pre-77s; hardy recommended the '77-9. i'd use v8 monza/clone front springs & brakes. the th-180's a bit weak for a v8; i'd swap in the -200 out of a '78-88 g-body (monte/clone), & use the GN Regal shift kit. 10-bolt is strong enough, unless you're going nutz on power; recall, it was behind the 280hp GNR. given the choice, i'd fit a 5.3 or buick 215 or 350, instead, rather than the heavier sb chevy.
