I had a 1988 SI and what I did was just got a long shaft 3/8's wrench with the 22mm ? deep socket and jammed it in the crank and aganst the ground and masde sure when the crank spins to the right, the ratchet was set to loosen the bolt. Jump inside the car, push the clutch in ( if applicable) and crank it for like 1 second. Loosen the bolt in a heart beat
works every time.
