Strange........... Both the Mitchell and GM factory manuals state:
Transmitter programming can only be accomplished using a Tech 1 scan tester. See instructions included with the Tech 1.
Unfortunately, unless you know a local shop with a Tech 1, you will have to go back to the dealer for programming.
