I am also experiencing vsc/trac problem on my 2003 sequoia. i am past the warranty at 45,000 mi. the dealer "has never seen this problem before" but just happened to have the part in stock and can fix it right away for $1400.00. i filed a complaint with the DOT Office of Defects Notification at
www.odi.nhtsa.dot.gov and suggest everyone do the same. this is most definitely a safety issue because the vehicle loses all power momentarily. i have seen several complaints on many dif forums. we all need to report this and i am following the advice of agent phish also and really appreciate the help. toyota is usually a great vehicle but this really sucks and is very dangerous!
