I emailed the guy back, and he told me with the Axxis pads, it's a clearance issue, as the pad unit is thicker on the '96-'98 Civics, so it wouldn't fit on my car due to that. Kinda sucks. There is a sweet buy on some slotted/dimple drilled rotors on sale for $50/rotor on GBC right now, I think I'm gonna get a pair of those, and then figure out if I want the AEM pads, or just drop an extra $20 and get EBC Green Stuff. But yeah, when you get your new pads on, let me know how they feel comparibly.

i'm concerned about thoe slotted/dimple rotors... what brand are they? i got brembo for their reputable products... you don't want a set of rotors that will crack or warp easily.... besides you can get brembos for about 59 each
