going to work one morning (had to happen as soon as i got on the interstate) and it wouldnt go over 15mph. i SLOOOWWWLY drove home, and noticed that there is a very bad gas smell, coming from the exhaust not the intake. got out the good ole obd2 reader, and shows map sensor high signal, unplugged the map, and it will barely idle and will not go at all. i mean like 5mph slow. and it showed map low signal, so i figured id go buy one and be on my merry way. ok, so i got a new map sensor.. i had to give back the obd2 reader and i cant remember if i cleared the code or not but the check engine light is still on... the map to intake hose is cracked up like a mug so i electrical taped it.. but still same problem of not hardly running at all.. has anyone else had this problem?? if so what helped? i REALLY need your help. if you help me ill be like your virtual bitch er something. i can tell you the engine is BRAND new (from gm, not remanufactured, less than 1000 miles on it.) i checked all fluids and that was fine. i checked the wiring going to the map and it seems fine. oh please help me i feel like SLLOOOWWWLLYY driving it into a brick wall.
