Thanks for the pointers guys.
I applied directly over given that the carbon decals I was using were not transparent at all. I worke rather well.
Gotta work on the template creation though, the custom replacement decal I made was a little off
.
Hopefully it will be more precise when using the unapplied originals as templates with the photocopy method MPWR described.
