The problem has to do with the torque converter clutch solenoid. It is not working properly. It is electric and if the wiring is bad it will not work properly. The plug is located on top of the transmission and can be blue, red or yellow in color. The solenoid can be removed by taking jacking up the drivers side and removing the tire. You will also have to remove the inner fender. The side cover on the transmission is right in front of you. Remove the bolts and the cover, the solenoid is right in front of you. You will need to purchase a new solenoid from a dealer. Once it is replaced you shouldn't have any other problems. Good Luck!!
