This happaned to me a couple of times a day for the last week. my buddy and I narrowed it down to the ignition switch or the wiring harnress attached underneath it. If you take the cap off the underside of that black harness, you will see a bunch of different colored wires. When we poked a trouble light to the PINK one and jiggled it a little (with the key in the on position of coarse), the dash lights and the trouble light came on. wiggled some more, off, wiggled some more, on, etc. I don't know if the wire, or the tumbler in the switch is bad. I havn't figured out where those wires end up, so i will probably replace the switch 1st.
