OK, So I got all new motor mounts from Deyeme Racing, and A couple weeks ago I put the Engine side, and Front roll stop on. Pretty easy DIY. Today (yesterday) I decided to put on the Trans side and rear roll stop. Just looking at it the trans side looked like it would be just as easy as the engine side. HOWEVER!!! After undoing all of the bolts and whatnot i made a not so awesome discovery...there was no way in HELL I would be able to get the fuckin mount OUT of the car. There was absolutely NO clearance. Even with the trans dropped as far as it would go there was no way to get it out. After thinking through all my options I decided the best thing to try would be to undo the front roll stop bar (the bar that goes from the front of the car down the middle to just behind the flex pipe), and see if that would allow the trans to drop anymore. Thankfully it worked....but only just. I swear to god, Mitsu must have had a major mind fuck when they designed that mount position. AND THEN, looking at how to get to the rear one looks WAY harder. My dad and I have to remove the front stop, the bar, the intake, battery, and a few other things just to see the mount. Then, they put the bolts in the most rediculous place. I can't believe what a pain in the ass this has been. I just wanted to let anyone who is thinking about replaceing their mounts to know that they will need a lot of time and critical thinkig to get the job done.

Anyone else have this experience, or am I totally retarded?
