95 Mustang 3.8 v6 starting problem

Hi, new here ^_^ I recently bought a used 95 Mustang and it has been running perfectly. When I parked one day the engine just died. This was an easy-to-fix problem due to low connection to the battery. All I had to do was put in new cables. Now the problem I have is starting it. With the battery disconnected it doesnt even turn over. Now it tries to turn over but to no avail. I thought maybe the battery lost charge after a couple weeks of sitting there but it won't jump start either. Before the problem occured I replaced the spark plugs, wires, and distributor so I know it's getting the spark. I'm not sure if maybe it's the starter or ignition. I'm not that great with cars... yet. Please help ^_^
