Re: Rear suspension conversion

It is not worth it to convert to springs. The ride is not the same, and you will lose the load leveling feature. If you go to strutmasters.com you can get a new compressor for $145, and they will give you directions on how to install the compressor, and they are available for questions 16 hours a day. They also have conversion kits, but I am telling you from experience, the ride will never be the same. I had a 1995 Continental, in which all four wheels use air suspension. You will lose the Lincoln appeal.
