Fmic installed few problems... but looking nice

Okay, well I started this task 2 weeks ago. I had 3 days set aside to finish this install but, on the second day I woke up with a fever of 103. Anyway, 2 weeks later and about 15 hours of actual work later it is done. This was my first real "big" project on my car so it took a little longer than it takes most people. However, I ran into the most dumb problems you can think of...only on a dsm.

First, one of the bolts holding the bumper on right by the hood latch was stripped so it wouldn't come off so that took a lot of time cutting it off.

Second, the piping that came with the kit I thought was going to be aluminum but, appartently it is freakin steal. While trying to drill holes for my damn bov flange It took 2 broken drill bits untill I borrowed a drill press from a friend.

Third, I have a T28 turbo so of course the outlet faces the passenger side. I was just going to have the turbo elbow cut and just rig the piping up but, I wasn't confident in cutting my turbo... So I ended up using some of the old piping and doing a 180 degree bend under the turbo back over the to the intercooler piping. I do not feel confident with the old piping mostly because I plan on running 20psi in a week or so.

Fourth, of course the overflow bottle wasn't fitting back where it was. This wasn't that big of a deal because I just mounted it in the wheel well where the old smic was. However, when reinstalling it the (rusted)wires that go through the plug that goes into the bottom of the bottle pretty much snapped in half. So, now I have a nifty check engine light on. I am almost positive that this is the cause but, once I figure out how to fix it I will know for sure.

Okay, so I got it all on and was running 15 pounds of boost on my T28 "50 trim" and it didn't take long to hit fuel cut. I have 650cc injectors sitting beside me as I am typing but, I need a fuel pressure reg. As soon as I order that I will install the injectors along with it and hopefully be able to run 20pounds of boost. I am about to start playing with my pocket logger and afc(I have spent at least an hour on reading how to tune it) Anyway I have gotten lots of comments on the intercooler by people who know what it is but others are like "That performance radiator is pretty shiney!" Okay, so that is my life story haha. I will be posting pictures up as soon as I can. Oh and if anyone was wondering this is the fmic from the group buy from ssautochrome.
