OK so, I did some more checking, at the computer and their was no 5v ref. "at the actual computer plug", So me and my father-in-law, did some rewiring, and fix the problem, by bypassing the original circuit, and grounding the ciruit directly to the battery, and running a new yellow wire to computer.
you know and I took it a shop that I "trusted", and they sent me through this wild goose hunt. I don't think I can really blame them either......
FYI: If a wire is shorted out "grounded", then the computer will default out, and shut the power off. Having NO ref. volts, through the entire connection.
