Crankshaft balancer assembly

I noticed my 95 LT1 has a wobble to the crankshaft balancer assembly. So, I ordered a new balancer assembly and want to replace the original. While I'm at it, I plan on checking the run-out of the crank with a dial indicator to make sure the wobble I seen was just the balancer. I have two questions related to this project:

1. What is acceptable allowance for run-out measurement on the crankshaft snout?

2. My service manual makes special note that when you replace the balancer, to make sure you replace the weights (my old balancer has two weights in it) with new ones, in the same positions. My new balancer came with no weights, so are you suppose to drive the old weights out of the balancer and then install them in the new one or what?

Thanks,

Randy
