What my problem with the scene, or the character themself, was that the creators of the Initial D show/comic were portraying that's it's cool to do that, put stress on the clutch, think about how many people(kids, teens, even adults) see a 'GOD' driver in initial D driving this way, and they go out and do the same thing. Do you not understand yet? I can keep my hand on the shifter without doing anything to the clutch just like I can keep my foot on the gas pedal without pressing the gas. How hard is it for you to understand that?
