I think 17/22 is pretty darn good mileage. My 1998 Police Interceptor gets the same mileage as your 2000 does. that makes sense 'cause they have the same engines. Mine was a State Trooper car and it has 122K.

What mileage do the newer 235, 239, and 250 HP engines get? Do they run okay on regular (87 octane) gas?
