Thanks for the positive feedback (to all).

I've checked by eye, that the colours match and they seem pretty close. I may end up changing my mind and going with a slightly darker shade (XF-7, with a clear topcoat).

Looks like you managed to pull it off though - nice collection.

A friend got into building once he saw that I'd started, and his first (and last) project was the Pennzoil Skyline. I wanted to build that one myself, too - but his model is sat on my fire-surround in amongst my small collection.

This is why I chose the newer Loctite version. (So that I could build the same model without being a labelled as a copycat!)

I started that one over 4 months ago and (as mentioned in another recent post) I've just picked up the nerve to continue it after an awkward rescue from a dire paintjob...

Looks like I might be doing the Supra and Skyline as a dual-project - if not, the skyline comes next (as it's already about 50% complete).
