Re: S-Trim Supercharged 5.0 vs Twin Turbo 5.0

14bs are way to small for a 5.0L engine. 2.0L engines a 14b (1g dsms) is considered a tiny turbo...390cfms is way too small for a 5.0L. Check out garrett air researchs turbo site they have some excellent, yet easy to understand formulas to calculate the proper size turbo(s) for your engine goals. http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...ch_center.html
Twin turbo setups are more complicated than a supercharger setup but will make more power in the end. If you know your car in and out 5.0L turbos are great, and most of the TT mustangs out there are foxes, if you can weld and fab shit yourself you can have an amazing setup for a fraction of the cost of an average supercharger setup. Turbomustangs.com is IMO one of the best sites to learn about turbochargers, regardless of platform. There is a huge wealth of information there and I find myself there from time to time referencing info for my DSM. It is an amazing site.
