Angry Since it takes forever for someone to look at in Performance!

Blah blah I posted about the rewire and the FPR, on dsmtalk a guy said the rewire wont be needed. Here is what he had to say, I would like your thoughts

First off, rewiring your fuel pump causes the pump to flow MORE. You are overrunning your factory FPR currently, why would flowing MORE help? If you get a adjustable FPR then you can rewire the fuel pump, but you dont need to rewire it with the 255lph on your current setup. Even in factory wiring form the 255lph will handle well over 50lb/min of airflow. The 14b at most flows around 29-30lb/min of airflow.

Get the Megan FPR if you want, but personally I would get something that is definately proven when it comes to fueling. Megan Racing is likely good for exhausts, but without something allowing me to monitor the operation of the FPR while boosting I wouldnt want to use anything but an Aeromotive or an SX regulator

The 255lph is more fuel pump than the Evo 3 16g will ever require even in unrewired form. On that note 560's arent enough for an Evo 3 16g turbo at full potential, and the 255lph's fueling capabilities even in unrewired form dwarfs 560's maximum flow abilities. To put this into perspective, on factory fuel maps 560's will allow 29lb/min of airflow at 85% duty and 9.5:1 AF assuming pump gas. The 255lph on pump gas with 30psi additional boost pressure, will have the flow capabilities of 50lb/min at a 9.5:1 AF. The Evo 3 16g flows at best 38-40lb/min. Do you see how overpowering the 255lph is in a setup such as that. Get an AFPR and up your fuel pressure to 43.5psi to correctly match that or what most injectors are rated at, not to mention you'll be able to push your factory injectors further by doing that. Absolutely no rewire is needed.

While he has been talking I posted about buying 560's and evoIII 16G and if I really need to get AFPR or if I could jsut use the megan one, it;s cheaper I trust them, has the gauge and everything.
