Re: Gas pedal dies around 55mph; returns at 50
I could still use some help....
The truck DIES, no idle, but 'push starts' itself when it hits 50mph.
Only happens after 55 mph in any gear (3,4,5)
Runs fine under 55 except rough when coasting downhill while in gear.
Valve cover gaskets blew.
Lost some power and gas mileage has done down.
Engine Temperature has no effect.
Changed O2 sensor.
What can I check next?
