the VIN S is the 3.0 24V DOHC Duratec engine
the VIN U is the 3.0 OHV Vulcan engine
If you open up your hood and your engine looks like this - http://www.edmunds.com/media/roadtes...on.eng.175.jpg then you have a Vin S, if not, vin U
