2000 Blazer 4.3 4x4, 106,000 miles. Purchased new, replaced alternator at 65,000, cat-back exhaust at 75,000, lower intake gasket, lifters and oil lines at 105,000. At 50,000 miles I had the tranny fluid changed by machine, at 100,000 I dropped the pan, changed the filter and added 4 quarts. I plan on taking it somewhere for a machine change soon. Embarrassed to admit that I used Jiffy Lube every 3000 miles from new to 75,000 miles (my wife drove the car then) and they never once lubed the front end. At 75,000 I noticed a squeak in the front end and found the problem. Since then, been doing everything myself and will need to replace the ball joints as soon as the weather permits because of Jiffy Lube's lazy incompetant a$$holes. Runs great, but I'm overdue for plugs/wires/cap/rotor since I'm still using the originals. I'm thinking about throwing in a new radiator this summer too because of BlazerLT's post.
