We Have a 2000 ford Ranger 4x4 with few problems. the one problem that gives me trouble is it chokes. My husband says it is water in the gas, but if that is the case it is a very picky truck because i have tried gas from all differant gas stations. When he puts heat in , it will work fine for a while till it gets low on gas then it will start choking again. The check engin light has been on several times and gone back off and when it does there is not problems. It just came back on the other day and now it is choking worse then ever. This has to be something it is progressing to. Today I filled the tank and on the way home it choked all the way up a slight incline. some one please give me an idea of what it is. I am going to change the plugs and wires but would love some input on this thing.Thanks. Lucy.
